On the Train Stations and Bus Stations, you will find many Taxi Drivers crowding around you. Actually, they are those persons who take the guests to those hotels/guest-houses where they get a huge Commission. 

• What is Commission ?
  
  Commission, in simpler words means "Baksheesh", Free Money for the Touts/Unauthorized Persons who bring guests to the Hotels.
  In Rajasthan, it is a very common thing. There are many Touts operating in Jodhpur City. Very often, they are the Rickshaw Drivers who meet you at the bus or train station. These Rickshaw Drivers often take the Guests to those Hotels/Guest-houses where they get a huge Commission. In Jodhpur City, the rate of the Commission is - 50%. i.e., if one takes Accommodation for Rupees 200/-, the hotel owner gives Rupees 100/- to the Tout or Rickshaw Driver, whoever brought you to the hotel. For giving you the knowledge about the 'Commission Basis' in Jodhpur City, we request you not to go to such places with the recommendation of Touts or the Rickshaw Drivers. Keep in mind that, they shall be getting a huge Commission from the Hotel/Guest-houses.
  To avoid these Commission Basis, we do not pay a single Rupee to the Taxi Drivers who brings the Guests. And for that, these Touts/Taxi Drivers will give you Negative Comments about our Guest-house. They may make lots of stories about our place that, The Guest-house is "Full", "No More", "Outside the City, Very Far", "Under Construction" ETC., Therefore, We request you to not to listen to these Stories said by these Touts & Rickshaw Drivers.
